Burial*
17 September 1806
He was buried on 17 September 1806 at Stourton, Wiltshire, England.
Note*
Other information; This man is allocated as the father of Mary EDWARDS' illegitimate sons on the grounds that he married her about six months after Joseph was born (Francis had died in infancy). It is possible that he was not the father, or that the Mary EDWARDS who married William FELTHAM was not the same woman who had illegitimate children.

(Witness) Will
19 August 1765
He witnessed the will of Francis JUPE on 19 August 1765 at Stourton, Wiltshire, England; Names brother-in-law William Read of Black Sloe in Stourton, wife Jane, and children John, Robert, Benjamin, Sarah, Francis and William by his 3rd (?) wife Jane. Very odd since he appears to have re-married in 1759 and had two more sons by Mary Field. Perhaps there was more than one Francis Jupe. Witnesses were William Target (#418 assigned on the basis that his wife was surnamed JUPE) and William Feltham (#16 assigned based on age).2

Burial*
24 October 1826
He was buried on 24 October 1826 at St Peter's, Stourton, Wiltshire, England; Aged 94 yrs.1
Note*
Other information; I am not absolutely convinced that the chap who was in the census in 1821 and who died in 1826 is the same man who was named in the Poor Law Records. The Stourton Charity book says that "William Feltham Grinder" recevied charity from 1800 right through to 1846. Yet there was no-one else to match in the 1821 or 1841 census.
He is recorded as unmarried since no wife was named in the Poor Law Records, and he does not appear to have had children baptised in Tisbury (or anywhere else checked) and there is no comparable marriage.
Perhaps he was the man married to Mary, who had children baptised in Frome in 1761, 1772 and 1780? Also children buried in 1761 and 1765.
Occupation*
He was a Razor Grinder; Brickyard Labourer.
