Birth*1734William SHEAN was born in 1734 at Penselwood, Somerset, England; There is no explicit link between the infant baptised in Penselwood and the man married to Ann ODBER in Stourton. However, he is one of only two candidates. The other William SHEAN who was baptised in Silton in 1734 probably died in infancy as his parents, Devonish & Ann SHEAN, had another son named William baptised in 1743. Devonish SHEAN is a remarkably uncommon name but note that Devonish SHEAN married Elizabeth BRADDEN in 1702 in Stourton, and had a son Devonish baptised there, so this provides a link to Stourton. Another possibility is that William SHEAN who married Ann ODBER was the second William SHEAN born to Devonish SHEAN, in 1743, and his age at death was wrong. This would make him only 18 years old at his marriage. Unusual, but not impossible by any means. 
He was the son of Grace SHEAN.
