I am guessing that the order might have been in relation to her husband being away for a long time - there was a big gap between the first and second child. It might be worth investigating this, if only out of curiosity.

In addition, a search of the IGI revealed two girls named Elizabeth CURTIS born in 1834 in Mere (both baptised at Boar St Independent - one the daughter of William & Martha and one the daughter of Caleb & Elizabeth). There were no baptisms for an Elizabeth CARTER in Mere in the timeframe. The 1841 census shows both the above Elizabeths CURTISes living with their parents (aged 6 and 7 years respectively) but no-one of the right age called ELizabeth CARTER living in Mere. It is also possible that John HARCOURT had two wives, both named Elizabeth. Finally, the marriage record clears this up. She was Elizabeth CURTIS, d/o Caleb.

This allocation may need to be reviewed in the light of other evidence.

Also note that the age at death gives a birth year of 1752. It was usual for ages of elderly people to be rounded up, not down. There is no evidence of anyone named Samuel, James or Susannah in her family. The LD girl had a brother named James. 
She was the daughter of Stephen CURTIS and Sarah PHILLIPS.
