Mary EDWARDS died in 1820 at Stourton, Wiltshire, England.
Burial*
7 October 1820
She was buried on 7 October 1820 at St Peter's, Stourton, Wiltshire, England; Aged 74 yrs.3
Note*
Other information; She is allocated as the d/o William & Mary more-or-less by a process of elimination. This one most closely matches the stated age at burial. The 1743 baptism was "of West Knoyle", so is considered less likely. She did *NOT* name a daughter Jane, which would be expected if her parents were John & Jane EDWARDS. The Maiden Bradley candidate is allocated elsewhere on the basis of children's names. Not strong evidence, but enough for attribution at this stage.
The same woman is allocated as the mother of two illegitimate sons, one born in Stourton and one in Kilmington. Again, there is flimsy evidence. She had two boys then presumably married their father. There is illegitimacy in the family. It's all a bit speculative.

Mary EDWARDS lived at Stourton and presumably Mere, then Kilmington.

Note*
Other information; It is a 'best guess' that this Mary EDWARDS (dau of Edw & Basil) was the Mary EDWARDS who married John Jefferies in 1762. The calculated age of birth would be 1730, based on the age at death, so it's close but not perfect.

Residence*
Mary EDWARDS lived at Maiden Bradley and Kilmington.
Note*
Other information; Mary EDWARDS who married William LAPHAM in 1771 is allocated as the dau of Thomas & Mary EDWARDS of Maiden Bradley because she had a son named Thomas. There is no other connection to Maiden Bradley. It is possible that she is a different woman. It is possible that Mary EDWARDS #17 who married William FELTHAM was the dau of Thomas & Mary EDWARDS of Maiden Bradley. Mary #17 had sons named John, William and Thomas, among others. There is a closer connection between Maiden Bradley and Kilmington, than MB and Stourton. Flimsy evidence, to be sure.
This allocation is supported by the fact that a witness at the marriage to William LAPHAM was Robert EDWARDS, and the MB Mary had a brother named Robert.
