Charles FELTHAM
M, #551, b. 1717, d. 5 November 1792
Birth*
1717
Charles FELTHAM was born in 1717; Possibly born in Stourton, although it is also possible that he was related to Henry FELTHAM of Wardour, and may have come from there. Unfortunately, the 1767 Catholic Census doesn't give details of his place of birth.

Note*
Other information; In the Bonham Registers, there is what appears to be a list of burials. Under John FELTHAM and then Hannah FELTHAM it reads [blank] FELTHAM, followed by a skull and crossbones, followed by the date 6 Aug 1769. I am guessing that this refers to the death of Charles FELTHAM, Papist, who was buried in Stourton churchyard on 5 Sep 1769. It seems like a long interval between death and burial, but one or other of the dates may be wrong. I don't know what is the connection between Charles on the one hand and John & Hannah on the other. He is allocated as the son of Francis FELTHAM as this is the best fit in the Catholic census of 1767, although the age given is 14 yrs.
