Other information; At this stage,there is no explicit proof that John BRACHER, born in 1701, was the son of John BRACHER who was a tailor in Stourton in 1700. However, the names, dates and places match. As this family appeared to be Catholic, it would explain the lack of baptisms.

He was Possibly Catholic. His first wife probably was, and his 2nd wife definitely was. Yet when he was buried the Rector did not note that he was a Papist, which was the usual practice at that time. Maybe he never converted. His burial is not recorded in the Bonham records, which survive for this period.
