Henry STEVENS and Lavinia TABOR had a child together when they were not married.
Census 1851*
Henry STEVENS was aged 45 in the 1851 census and lived at Top Lane, Bonham, Stourton, Somerset, England.
Note*
Other information; There is no direct proof that Henry STEVENS was the father of the illegitimate child baptised Albert Henry Stevens TABOR, but the names of the child and the father's temporary residence in Stourton point to this likelihood. The family claim descent from Henry Ainslie HOARE but this does not bear up to scrutiny (eg. HAH did not arrive at Stourhead until 1857 and was in France from 1848 to 1857).
There was another man named Henry STEVENS, Labourer, who also fathered an illegitimate child in East Knoyle. I believe that they are different men.
Henry STEVENS was aged 12 in the 1851 census and lived at Stourton, Wiltshire, England.
Residence*
He lived at Stourton.
